Grief and Loss Workshops
In the spirit of our humanity and the mystery of living, we lose people we cherish, animals we have loved, dreams we have given up on, wounds still oozing or re-opened by hardship and ongoing tragedy, relationships ended or ending when we are left with the emptiness that lives in our tears, sometimes cried, and sometimes pushed away. During this time of unknown or unwanted changes, uncertainty is all around us. We often feel alone and isolated in our hardship and embarrassed to talk about our woes, as so many others may have it so much worse.
This workshop is a place where grief, loss, and wound repair are the main attraction. We don’t have to barter or bargain our tragedies, compare if we have the right to speak of our sadness and fears, but a place in which the grieving process and wound repair are invited to show up, to speak, to hold witness, for ourselves and others in repairing that of which is known, unknown and unwanted at times.
The processes will use multiple modalities of exploration, inquiry of losses, tools for stabilizing strengths, letting go processes, and gathering of ourselves and others to build community within our experiences for constellating more ease and resilience, long-term.
